Late last week Spring residents saw a report on ABC 13 there was a boil water notice for water contamination. A single sample from a single source had tested positive for E. coli in the Candlelight Hills subdivision in Spring.
Harris County Municipal Utility District 383 and Municipal Operations and Consulting have confirmed that this notice and warning did not apply at any time to residents in Gleannloch Farms. Surface water provided by the NHCRWA and District-managed water supply was found to be clear of the contamination reported by ABC 13. HCMUD 383 also posted their annual Water Quality report to the website.
The contaminated source in Candlelight Hills was retested and found to be clear of contaminants, and on Sunday ABC 13 updated their report. You can find more information related to the alert on the ABC 13 website.
