Collection Days
- Trash: Monday and Thursday
- Recycling: Thursday
- Time: Place items at curb by 7:00 a.m.
Trash Guidelines
- Resident supplied trashcans
- Extra trash: in 30-gallon – 50-gallon containers or bags (≤ 40 lbs.)
- Excluded Items:
- Construction debris, dirt, rocks, bricks, tile, concrete
- Tires, batteries, motor/cooking oil, hazardous materials
- No liquids in hidden containers (e.g., paint, gasoline)
Yard & Bulk Waste
(one option per collection day)
- Collected on both service days
- Tree Limbs: Tied and Bundled (≤ 4 ft long, ≤ 4 in diameter, ≤ 40 lbs) (5 bundles max per day)
- Yard Waste: Bagged ≤30 lbs. (5 bags max per day)
- Bulk items: Furniture, appliances, mattresses (2 items max per day)
- Carpet (1 room max, cut & bundled)
- Refrigerated appliances: Must be drained with proof of service
Recycling Guidelines
- Use the Best Trash green recycle cart
- Accepted:
- Paper & cardboard (flatten boxes)
- Plastics (#1–5, 7)
- Aluminum & tin cans
- Glass (all colors)
- Remove caps, liquids, and food residue
- Overflow recyclables: Place next to cart, clearly marked
Cart Requests & Maintenance
- Each home receives 1 recycle cart
- Free maintenance on wear and tear damage
- Lost/stolen/melted carts: $85 + tax to replace
Holiday Schedule
- No collection on: Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
- Service resumes on the next regular scheduled collection day
